In addition to state-of-the-arts condenser microphones, outboard tube amps, compressors/gate limiters and an acoustic vocal booth, Studio at the Black Star Lions offers your music project all digital state-of-the-arts multi track recording with 36 outboard digital tracks and unlimited on board digital tracks at our disposal.

Mastering
Audio Mastering in itself is an art form that requires the skillful application of equalizer, compression, gain and other audio enhancers to prepare an audio project for radio play and retail. With state-of-the-arts outboard audio recording and mastering gear coupled with on board audio enhancers at our disposal, not to mention a Recording/Audio Mastering Engineer relocated from the United States with over 2 decades of audio processing experience who has work on studio projects with Artists signed with Motown Records, Atlantic Records and Paramount Pictures, mastering with Studio at the Black Star Lions guarantees your music project will compete with the most professional sounding projects on the mainstream.

Did you know Studio at the Black Star Lions also masters for other studios? If your choice is to record your music project in a studio other than Studio at the Black Star Lions, it will be our pleasure to master your music project for you also. No problem! If you are a recording studio owner desiring to free up more of your time for your customers and other projects or perhaps are not quite set up for audio mastering and wanting to offer mastering service to your customers, it will be Studio at the Black Star Lions' pleasure to do your mastering for you.
Now, here's how you or your recording engineer can prepare your music project for the best possible mastering. In addition to leaving the sample rate and bit depth in its original format, the peak level of your master bus should be below -3dB and above -9dB to allow ample room for the processes of mastering. Also, after achieving your desired multi-track to stereo mix down avoid adding compression, limiting and EQ to your music project on your master bus. These applications along with other sound enhancing applications are all part of the audio mastering process and will be skillfully and scientifically applied to your music project by our Black Star Lions' recording and mastering engineer. Applying these prior to submitting your project for mastering can result in an over processed music project jeopardizing that mainstream final result. All Ready To Summit Your Payment And Music Project For Mastering?
Studio at the Black Star Lions provides 2 options by which you can submit your music project and your payment for mastering service.
The first option provided for you saves you time and travel expenses by enabling you to e-mail your already mixed down to stereo music project in wave or the highest resolution MP3 format to muprojects@yahoo.com and conveniently submit your payment for your mastered music project by mobile money to 0244817459. Your mastered music project will then be delivered to the email from which it was originally received within three to seven business days depending on the number of songs to be mastered on your music project. Take advantage of our discount offer for multiple songs where every 6th song on your music project is mastered free of charge. Yes, if you have a twelve song project two of your songs are mastered at no charge. For an eighteen song project, three of your songs are mastered for free. The more songs you allow Studio at the Black Star Lions to master for you the greater your discount.
While recording service is by appointment only, your second option, with no appointed needed, allows you to bring your already mixed down to stereo music project with your payment for mastering to our Black Star Lions complex located in Ghana's eastern region near Atimpoku on the East side of the Adomi bridge on Akwamufie road about 1.5 kilometers North of the bridge on the East side of the road. Projects brought to the Black Star Lions complex for mastering can also be delivered to your email to save you a trip back just as projects submitted by email can also be picked up at our complex during our regular service hours. Or, give us a call. Often times we are available to receive your music project needing mastering long after our normal service hours even on weekends.
